[SOLVED] Have i made an error?

Hi guys, bought a gigabyte B450M gaming motherboard with a ryzen 5 3600 cpu, was told ryzen like fast RAM so go for the 16 GB 3600mhz so i did, only to realise the mobo itself has a max 3200mhz, so will it still be ok to use or should i drop down to a 3200mhz version, as always thanks in advance for the fantastic advice ive always received on this forum

that same ram will work, it will just lower your frequency.

no damage. The motherboard decides what clock your memory is running at. The RAM is not locked to 3600 mhz
