Have memory issues need help please!

first off I have an amd a8 5600k running dual graphics with a 6670. 8 gigs of 1800 speed ram. asus mobo. i have windows 8 32 bit installed. and i think that is the problem. It says my hardware reserved memory is almost 6 gigs and 2.22 gigs usable. so my ram is constantly maxed out and idk what the problem is.

windows 32-bit can only utilize just over 3 GB of RAM, no matter how much beyond that you have installed. To utilize anything higher (GB-wise) you MUST be using the 64-bit version.

ok how can i upgrade wihtout losing all my data? i have a second hd installed that has nothing on it too could i utilize taht to install the 64 bit version? or is there other steps i need to do?

go to microsoft's website for instructions, or do an internet search for changing 32 bit to 64 bit
