Have no way to hook up case Fan.

i have a case fan that has a 2 pin hole plug and motherboard has a 3 pin on it. Is there an adapter i can get or do i have to figure out some magical trick to hook it up.
Had fan already from old comp and wanted to give my slightly newer comp more air circulation.

If your fan has the one that looks like in the link. Then you can plug it in the 3pin connector on the MB.

Ok, so all i have to do is just chose any 2 pins of the 3?

Check the MB manual, usually the wire has color code, like in the link. http://images.hardwarezone.com/upload/files/2010/01/3956d4ce27.jpg

But you only can plug in either left side of 2pin or right side of 2pin.
