Thank you for you replay.
Here are my specs:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz
Manufacturer Intel
Speed 3.1 GHz
Number of Cores 4
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GT 610
Manufacturer NVIDIA
Chipset GeForce GT 610
Dedicated Memory 1.0 GB
Total Memory 4.0 GB
Memory 8.2 GB
Operating System Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit
Now according to a site called "Can you run it" (http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri) I have the recommended specs to play "Civilization V:Beyond Earth" and its soon upcoming DLC "Rising Tides". Now when I start the game I set the resolution to 1650x1025 and medium with V-sync turned on. It runs at about 15 fps witch is unacceptable. Now I turn it down to low. Still lags. FINE. I put is on minimum 1440x900 turn V-sync off and it still lags much less but lags never the less and now it looks dreadful.
I have installed the latest drivers all up to date, Windows update too but still no luck and i just don't get it. Now you see that Civilization but before that i wanted to play Planetside 2 now i dont have the minimum i know this but i downloaded a program that unpacks my cores (http://coderbag.com/Programming-C/CPU-core-parking-manager). Now i just slung the slider to 90% not really know what I was doing. No change was made in PL2 but other games started to lower their performance so thinking that was the problem i lowered it back to 5% (what i found it on).
Not really sure was it me or just games lagging anyway but I games i know i can run fine started to run lower so please help me.
Thanks for replay.
