Hello! I'm just wanting to get some input on what you guys think could use an upgrade in my system. I have some spare cash laying around and im looking to put it into upgrading my rig! Below are my system specs. Let me know what you guys think!

CPU: I5-4690k 3.5 GHz
GPU: EVGA GTX 970 4gb
Cooler: Coolermaster Hype 212 EVO
Mobo: Gigabyte H97M-D3H
Ram: 16GB
PS: 600W
OS: Win 10

Solution
If you have spare cash lying around, the best place to put it is in a long-term CD at the bank, or invest it in an index fund at Vanguard.

If you insist on spending it, what type of storage are you using? Upgrading a HDD to a SSD for the OS and programs provides the best bang for the buck improvement. Your other components look sufficiently modern that the performance gain of an upgrade would be incremental. You may want to wait until later in the year though. Intel and Micron's XPoint is supposed to be officially released later this year, and we'll get to see if the actual product lives up to the hype.

Im not sure what the brand of my power supply is. I play games at 1920 x 1080 ( unless its csgo)

better check it brand + model , its the most important part of a pc.
if u dont want blackscreens and other stuff in the future....

Well about the best video card you could get would be a 1070 for that resolution without breaking the bank and being massive overkill. Going with an SSD for the OS and a few games would help with load times and make the system "feel" faster.
