[SOLVED] Have there ever been any decent 1080p monitors under $50? Or even close?

I was surprised when I saw how expensive monitors were, as I could have sworn that they were much less, around $50. The closest one I saw was a 1080p monitor with a response time of 25ms for $70, and a 768p for $65 something

Check eBay or Facebook Marketplace. New stuff tens to hover more closer to the 100-150 dollar mark for a good 1080P but the used market is usually flooded with monitors especially since alot of people are making the switch to 1440P.

Yeah, you rarely find sales this low and certainly not for any quality 1080p monitor, so you have to check the secondary market. As with any product, there are plenty of overhead costs that don't scale with quality. The economics of selling a new monitor for $50 are dreadful.
