have they toned down the item loot?

Gold is still 2x what it used to be but the items are significantly weaker
than a couple days ago. Was this due to a publish or mystery?

As far as the posts from Leurocian & Fertbert on the Stratics boards go, no.

There seems to have been a natural leveling off since the first few days,
though. When the publish first hit, i was finding TONS of items on a kill, now
it's stabilized as more people are out hunting and drawing from the "pool" of
items or whatever...you get alot less, and the quality isn't as insanely high
as it was before...though i'm still finding 16-19% lrc items on a regular basis
when i go hunting, just not as many as before per corpse, and alot less med
items are turning up now...

If you've been to a test shard, you'll notice the insane power of drops, since
the publish is still relatively fresh there, so i believe it's just natural
stabilization.

THis has ALWAYS been the trend of loot dr4ops in this game after a
patch. It has always seemed that loot was better, to one degree or
another, right after a patch and then it settles down in a few days.

At least that is how I have always seen it.

Seems the same to me. I was wearing a 800 luck suit and getting tons of
loot - so much that I was spending half my time zipping to the shop to
sell off the surplus. I decided to wear better resists and less luck and
my loot and level of loot enhancements went down as expected. But wearing
the luck suit still makes lot of loot appear.

It is neat how sometimes you kill a foe and open the body and at first
there is no extra loot, then the luck loot appears a split second later.

i had the opposite. Good loot the first few days, then blah loot. then i put
on my 854 luck suit and hit the same dungeon(despise) and still get blah
loot. at least off ettins and earth els.

Try a cyclops and a titan. Great loot last night.

I noticed the good stuff seemed to go down in quality as well. Only
decent items i'm still finding are on dragons (my tamer has 1025 luck or
so). Cyclops and titans didn't seem to offer much lately.

The Val bunnies. Tons of loot. I've probally whacked well over 300+ since
and my bank account is just getting bigger.
