Have to install a recovery for HP Pavilion, but I have a new video in but I cannot install the driver because I can't install

I just put in a motherboard in an HP Pavilion 524g that my late brother was working on so I am trying to get it to work. There was no video card so I had to buy one with a driver. I have on the monitor a banner says no video in put. Now how can I install the recovery cd without the video card driver installed, am I missing something I am stumped?

Please verify the make and model# of the motherboard as the 524g does not have a graphics card slot, it only has normal pci slots.
While these can be used for graphics cards, it wont be playing anything but very old games.

P4G533LT, found out the intergraded video chi was bad, did some research and ordered another refurbished board, should have known better to buy a used board that wasn't fully checkd out. O well I asn't out of very much money ut you lve and I have learne a lot, thanks for your reply.
