Have trouble getting 5.0 GHz

So I've managed to get 4.9 at 1.345 volts at around 75C on full load. I have to crank the volts up to 1.39 to get a stable 5.0 overclock. I was wondering if it's just my chip, or maybe if my motherboard is hindering my overclock stability. Like if I somehow bent a pin perhaps?

we're not mind readers!! What chip, the rest of your system specs? Info helps a little here

edit: I'm presuming it's an Intel I5/I7, otherwise we wouldn't be talking about 5ghz, on an AMD chip! lol

Unless it's an FX chip, they clock quite high.

that true, but somehow I don't think so on a 1,39v. I could be wrong though
