there are some speculations about upcoming boards which will be 2 socket AM4 for Zen CPUs . I'm interested if someone has any info on that ?

According to this article it looks like there will be dual socket motherboards for Zen servers: http://www.anandtech.com/show/10581/early-amd-zen-server-cpu-and-motherboard-details-codename-naples-32cores-dual-socket-platforms-q2-2017

As CountMike said though, this motherboard is only for AMD's server lineup, it is very unlikely that we are going to see a consumer board with dual socket. If you are confused about the name Zen, it is a carpet name for all new AMD CPU's that are being being on their new 14nm architecture. So far we don't have official confirmation on what AMD is naming their Zen chips because nothing has come out. Think of it as Intel's designations for their CPU's, Xeon is for servers, i7 for high end enthusiast chips, i5 for performance, etc. Because no Zen CPU has been officially released, we just end up calling them all Zen, from server to low end, Zen.

I ain't give a damn about naming conventions
they can even call it "reptiloid"
what i'm interested in is , whether or not those zen server cpus will be overclockable
plus , will they be able to hyperthread
as they showed recently , yes all them (zens) core doubles ...
so , I don't know either.... we need to wait for end of the january

if both is yes , then its a big punch on Intels face
but if not it means , i will be disappointed ))))
