Alright team! I haven’t upgraded in about 5/6 years lol... my current system is as listed below. Problem is I’ve been out of the loop on all things computer parts thr past few years, as I’ve been busy with my schooling. I’m thinking of upgrading sometime between now and September and I’d like to have a rig that can play Cyberpunk 2077 pretty dang beastly well. Am I better of upgrading now or waiting until around August/September?

My budget is preferably $1000 or less.

CPU: i5 3570k

GPU: MSI GTX 970 OC edition

Ram: 8gb Corsair Vengeance Ram DDR3

Mobo: MSI gaming mobo

HDD: (2) 750gb Western Digital Blue
I’d like a 1TB SSD upgrade

PSU: I will add tomorrow, as I’m at work and don’t remember.

Monitor: ASUS 1440p 60hz monitor

I’m leaning more towards an AMD ryzen build this time around since the cost/benefit ratio in comparison to Intel seems like the better bang for $ currently, and I’ve heard and read good stuff about Ryzen. As for graphics cards I have no idea what to get. Something to play Cyberpunk at 1440p or higher would be nice. Lend me your thoughts and builds!
