Back in 2011 I built my gaming PC for mostly SWTor, however being 2015 I have noticed that some of my games are running at like they use to due to updates and heavy mod usage(skyrim)
On the flip side it would have been nice to have run FO4 or W3 on my PC but settled for them on the PS4 since my pc was not able to run them according to www.systemrequirementslab.com
I know I am going to miss out on the modding for FO4 and I can forget battlefront on PC.....So is it time to upgrade some pc components or just stick with the ps4 for my gaming needs.
Right now my desktop is running windows 10 with the following components
- ASRock 970 Extreme4 AM3+/AM3 AMD 970 + SB950 5 x SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
- Antec High Current Gamer Series HCG-750 750W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V v2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Certified 80 PLUS
- SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870 DirectX 11 100314-2SR 1GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support
- AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb Quad-Core 3.2 GHz Socket AM3 125W HDZ955FBGMBOX Processor
- G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM
I was looking at either upgrading the graphics to a R7 370 and/or the cpu to a fx6300
Thoughts are appreciated
