Having a very low fps with gtx 1060

hello guys, half a year ago I bought a very good pc in order to stream games online.
I was very surprised that my computer couldnt even handle basic games without stuttering..
I have been trying to solve this problem for half a year and right now I finally started msi afterburn test.

my cpu is intel i7 6700
my gpu is gtx 1060
16 gb ram
ssd card

playing pubg for me is unrealistic because of my low fps and stutters, the afterburn test shown this

gpu usage durring gaming was on 100% and the game stuttered!
gpu heat was 70c

cpu usage was 22-60%


right now I'm pretty sure that I know that the problem is my gtx 1060, finally I have a hope that I can fix this problem.. so Im asking you guys. is my card defective? or is my cpu not working hard enough so my gpu is having a hard time?

How can I finally fix this problem?

are you monitoring cpu temps at all?

Is your monitor plugged into your GTX 1060, or your motherboard? I just want to make sure it's not set up to use the CPU's integrated graphics. : P

Also, what resolution is this at? 1080p?

that is not possible short of water cooling


check that the cpu is not stuck at a slow speed


use this, play a game for a while, does it turbo up to its full speed?

how do I check that the cpu is not stuck on a slow speed?

and you are getting 3.8 ghz which is good as well

I have tried to do so already, and it didnt help much.

problem is, all the games are running very badly..

the only games that work perfectly are overwatch and csgo, but as soon as I start streaming overwatch im losing alot of frames and have alot of stutters.. this is so weird because some friends of mine are streaming with higher settings and worse rigs but they dont have any problem

run DDU, wipe out all drivers, and install the newest from the nvidia website
