Having all kinds of issues with my orders

Well, I thought I had most of this figured out but another error has crept
up in my orders and I am not sure I understand what the problem is. Here is
the error message I get:

E: A FIN S A STP h
Unrecognized source province ->

I am not sure what the problem is since I have other orders following the
exact same format for other units and they are fine. For ex., A BUR S A
BEL-RUH

Any ideas?

Keith

Just leave out the "h" at the end and you'll be fine.

This is the response that I received from the judge regarding my orders. I
am not sure what the problem is since it shows my order for Finland in the
list. Our GM is on vacation and is unavailable for help. If someone could
shed some light on this that would be great. I will also post the orders as
I sent them to the judge. Thanks for the help.

You must have entered "a fin s a stp" at some point. When you send a
new order: "a fin s a stp h" the judge sees that it is in an invalid
format and flags it as an error, but it does not change the existing
order for a fin.

Thanks!! Leaving of the "h" did the trick. Can't say that I understand why.
But the important thing is that I will not be late with my orders!!

No, but everyone else will now know what they are! ;-)

Yes, that's correct, but you also want to be careful with public
announcements on places like r.g.d, it is highly likely that
you have just revealed your moves to all of your opponents.

This is not good, I hope you see why. I understand that your
GM is away, but you would have done better to "anonymize"
your question as well as you could and CERTAINLY not have
sent us your whole set of orders!

I hope this doesn't hurt you too badly.

Jim-Bob

PS Tim is precisely correct, since you are changing the order,
it thinks that h is trying to be a "province", better to just
leave it out.

Maybe that was the point...

Well, I leave my intentions open for debate. The Truth is, my game is about
over and everyone ALREADY knows (more or less) what my moves are going to
be. I am in a sprint with Turkey for a solo as England. Germany is about
gone and Italy is attempting to play "King Maker" by frustrating Turkey's
advancements. So, thanks for the help and the concern. This is a newby
game (my second) so your advice is well taken.

Why doesn't Hol Support? Even though the support might not be needed,
it would still look good! 😉 😀
