Question Having an issue with Guitar Hero controller interfering with RX 580

So out of nowhere with a recent graphics driver or something, every time i plug in my guitar hero controller my graphics card freaks the <removed> out and starts showing a black screen, with a white boarder on the active window, then comes back, and repeats that a lot. I have no idea whats causing it. Ive reinstalled graphics drivers, reinstalled the xbox controller, downgraded to the 2009 controller drivers, no clue.

Also, unrelated but while im here, my league of legends keeps shutting down to below 50 fps before eventually coming back to 60. I can usually get it to sit pretty at 60 for a bit by alt tabbing and then clicking on the window on the task bar but it only lasts for a little while.

Is my graphics card dying?

I don't see any of the issues you mentioned above in the video.
50FPS is by no means "shut down" nor slow.
Don't let windows update your HW drivers. Game files go corrupt also, have you re-installed the game itself ?
