Alright so i'm having a problem with using our home phone. If the phone is in use, as in its been lifted off its holder (we're still using corded) all internet in the house will drop out thus putting red lights onto the modem. Our current provider is iinet. I was just wondering if they'res a way of disabling the phone, or something like that through the routers log in page. Thanks!

Solution
If your internet is DSL based, every telephone in your home is supposed to be attached through a filter, to prevent such an occurrence of interference from the telephone onto the DSL portion of the service. Also, DSL filters can go bad, so if you have them and everything worked initially but has gotten worse over time, investigate your filters. If on the other hand, you have DSL based internet with no filters on your telephone service, get filters and use them.
