The two people in charge of our compliance with the Massachusetts data security law are very, very territorial of their jobs. They were assigned to this task before I was hired and have muscled me out at any attempt by me to help the company comply with the law.

These two computer gurus have to train the rest of our company in standards and compliance this or next month. One believes Firefox is a firewall, the other could not find the power button on a laptop. I am brainstorming questions to ask them at the training about data encryption and general computer security.
