Question Having internet issues when using I7 2nd procie

Hello to all, I just like to ask how to fix my CPU/internet issue. My friend gave me his i7 2nd processor and whenever I put it on my old h61h2-m2 ECS motherboard, Chrome can't connect to internet. My internet using Chrome always on and off...but I don't have issues on Microsoft Edge. I always need to use command prompt to release and renew IP. Whenever I close Chrome, the next time I use it will show the site cannot be reached.. The i3 2nd processor doesn't have issues only the i7 2nd...What seems to be the problem with my cpu?

Here are the parts in my CPU
Processor = I7 2nd 2600
Motherboard = ECS h61h2-m2
Ram = 2gb Kingston
PSU = 500
HDD = Samsung 320gb

no GPU

I even update the BIOS but still having internet issues when using Chrome. I tried the release, renew, reset tutorials online but didn't solve the issue.
