Hi all,

My new build is about 4 days old and I've been having some strange issues with my internet. My download speeds are incredibly low, and when I download anything, whether it be from Steam or Bnet, it seems like it hogs all my bandwidth and makes streaming/browsing pretty difficult. Funny thing is, on my last PC build, I could do all that fine, and still download at reasonably fast speeds. When I was downloading WoW, the download would constantly start and stop, with a yellow warning sign appearing saying that I lost connectivity. If I try using Discord while downloading, all audio becomes distorted. These things are really bugging me and I can't seem to find the root cause.
Current build:

  • 1070
    i7-7700
    MSI Z270 Tomahawk
    NZXT Kraken x52
    Corsair Vengence 8g x2 3200 DDR4
    EVGA 650W 80+

So far, what I've attempted to do in order to solve the issue:

    Updated my bios to latest
Updated LAN drivers from MSI's website. (Intel (R) Ethernet Connection (2) 1219-V)
    Ran Windows Defender/Malwarebytes
Manually set my adapters download speed to 100 Mbps dual
    Turned off energy efficient ethernet
Uninstalled adapter drivers and restarted my PC
Networking commands: ip renew/release dns flush

Additional info: Live in the Northeast, Xfinity is my ISP, and my package is up to 200 Mbps, 25 Mbs
Here is a testmy.net result: http://testmy.net/db/AYoih9Ujr

Any help would be greatly appreciated
Let me know if you need any more logs

Ironically enough, it seems that I completely overlooked that, and it seems to have stabilized my connection some. Thanks a lot!
