I'm doing a PC build with:

CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 640
MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3 R3.0
RAM: 4Gb G.Skill
GPU: Powercolor 7770 Ghz Ed.
PSU: Corsair 430W

I've completed the out of case build and hooked it up to several different monitors with HDMI, VGA, DVI ports. All the fans are spinning, but I can't seem to get anything to show up on screen. I've read something about doing a bios update to allow for that certain card, but am confused on how this is to be done since I can't see anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

*this isn't my first build*

There are no display ports on the mobo to connect to, but no I have everything connected properly. I had a MSI GTX 660 laying around and popped it in. Got a post right away. Figured the card was dead..
