Having Pocket Loss issues on Ethernet connection on one computer

My connection was perfectly fine two days ago, connected directly through the modem no router, speed of approx 21mbps on Speedtest.net.

Yesterday morning I started having issues when I tried to play a game of starcraft 2, huge ping in the game, screen freezing every 2-3 seconds, etc. Reset modem, restarted computer several times, disabled and enabled the network adapter, checked with different ethernet cables, still had the same issue.

Pingtest results:

The thing is, the speedtest rating is not at a constant 0.53 mbps throughout the whole test, it shoots up to as high as 24mbps and then just stops and decays down digit by digit until it spikes again and then decays again, the graph itself looks like a sine graph.

For the ethernet connection I am able to web browse normally, a page will lag sometimes but at other times pages will load completely normally. Downloads will begin normally then lag and fail.

Note: I have tested the modem with 2 other laptops, both of which receive a perfectly good connection.

I posted this issue to another forum as well, a user there told me to do a ping test in cmd.

here is the result of that:
Here is the ping test for my desktop.

"request timed out" pops up every few tries

The ping test for my laptop is perfectly normal, no time outs, ms ranges from 12-30. Same connection (direct ethernet connection from laptop to modem)

Between the first time i tried to test it yesterday and today, there was a period of around 6-7 hours or so where my ethernet connection returned to normal, then after my PC restarted the problem came back

ran another ping on desktop, test results:

Ping statistics for 4.2.2.1:
Packets: Sent = 60, Received = 39, Lost = 21 (35% loss)
Approximate round trip in milli-seconds:
minimum = 14ms, Maximum = 75ms, Average = 31ms

Results for a test on wireless connection on desktop (the wireless connection is from a different modem and router)

Ping statistics for 4.2.2.1:
Packets: Sent = 300, Received = 299, Lost = 1 (0% loss)
Approximate round trip in milli-seconds:
minimum = 45ms, Maximum = 155ms, Average = 53ms

Here are tests for wired and wireless on a laptop:

Ping statistics for 4.2.2.1:
Packets: Sent = 300, Received = 300, Lost = 0 (0% loss)
Approximate round trip in milli-seconds:
minimum = 12ms, Maximum = 42ms, Average = 13ms

Ping statistics for 4.2.2.1:
Packets: Sent = 300, Received = 300, Lost = 0 (0% loss)
Approximate round trip in milli-seconds:
minimum = 44ms, Maximum = 91ms, Average = 49ms

Help please :(

Have you checked if your gaming port is correctly set and if the reset of the router has not caused it to reset it to the default?
