Having problems with my hard drive and win 10

So my when I boot my computer it says scanning and repairing drive f 100%. then boots when it does boot my desktop icons are the white paper ones. I try to use file Explorer and it just keeps saying working on ot the crashes, and turns my whole screen black. drive f is my hdd windows is on a sad that is separate. Any ideas I miss my computer. Let me know if I can answer any questions

As far as I understand, your system can't properly boot up.
Do you have some important data stored on the drive? In case you do, you will need to use some data recovery tool for DOS(as your system can't boot). Keep in mind that you will need to attach another drive in order to save the recovered data on it.
After that, you can use some HDD testing tool for DOS mode. The results will show you what is wrong with the drive. Unfortunately, my guess would be that there are some bad sectors on it.
