Having problems with XB270HU after upgrading to Win10.

Solution
Device Manager has detected the monitor - it's detected as a "Generic Plug & Play (PnP) Monitor" which is the default in the absence of a manufacturer's driver. Hundreds of Windows users just leave it at that without any problems.

Device Manager won't show the actual monitor make & model until monitor driver is installed.
But Acer do not have a Windows 10 driver for that model, only for Win7 & Win8.

However, absence of monitor driver should not prevent the monitor from working properly provided you've set the correct display resolution (the native resolution for that model) in Windows.

The native display resolution of that model is 2560 x 1440, so that's what you need to select...

The Windows 10 driver for your monitor may be delivered by Windows Update (automatic updates) when available.
