Hello guys, computer is about 4 months old, and just yesterday Iv'e started getting weird screen artifacts while playing some games. The game in question is Diablo 3, loaded it up like normal then started getting shards // tears coming off game models and effects. Iv'e tried resolving this issue, ive used furmark, kombustor and OCCT bench marking software to see issues, and it doesnt seem to be a GPU problem that I know of, well not as I can see. However, interestingly I switched the Diablo 3 game client to 32 bit mode and it works fine, hence why im more confused. Later on that evening I started to play rocket league, was fine till about 2hr in the game started glitching and giving me graphical artifacts in that game too. So I dont really know how to proceed, if anyone is out there any help would be appreciated. I just dont know if I should be looking to claim warranty on the GPU or not yet.

GPU: 1070TI 8GB Windforce

Just started getting artifacts on 32 bit diablo 3 game.

Solution
Alright. Looks like this happens in a few games like Minecraft, Diablo III and even FurMark.

If you have done any kind of overclocking, just reset it to default.
OR might be game issue itself. Like, in this minecraft image.

The textures will get ripped off, some weird dots will appear on the 3d object and even 2D is doomed.
For minecraft, this is in the game settings itself called as "Mip-Mapping"
For more info, click here

Go to game settings and find the Mip-Mapping option and change it to off or full. If that doesn't work, go to nVidia control panel and then find mipmapping and set it to low or full.

If it still doesn't...
Have you updated your Nvdia drivers recently? If yes, then maybe try rolling back and see if the issue is still there. If no then try updating them and see if this resolves the issue.

Happened before I downgraded or upgraded, then I updated - same issue. Then ran DDU wiped all Nvidia drivers then ran fresh driver install, same issue. Kombustor and furmark scanned artifacts. Changed video card to an older 660ti and issues were gone. Just about to send it off for an RMA to get a replacement under warranty sadly. Thanks for the help however

It happened in Diablo and rocket league, both games I tried, I couldve possibly tried the card in another rig tonight but it might have been picked up already for return. I literally tried everything I could think of and when I swapped GPU that sorta confirmed it for me unless I'm missing something. Appreciate the replies

If still artifacts appear, just buy a new GPU. Look's like your GPU is almost dead.
