Hey everyone, just wanted to see if someone could offer any help here...

Basically i got my new build together and it's working amazing, the picture, the quality, even the much commented about stock cpu fan that everyone says is really loud...i can't hear a thing 😛

But as I download a lot of movies, I watch movies via streaming veetle, or movie webpages, I rely on all my sound coming from my 46" Samsung tv. Now I dont know what the deal is here but when i turn on my cpu it's fine! Just later like if i fall asleep.... I dont know what settings i have but i do know my computer doesn't shut off it just logs off, when i log back in the sound is gone.... but once i restart everything is back to normal.

I downloaded all the drivers from the Gigabyte's website for my gaming motherboard and I am just not sure if this is a settings thing or maybe i should not have downloaded all the drivers....

anyone happen to have an idea what's going on with this? Oh and by the way when the sound is working and i click on the volume icon on the bottom right it shows as my Samsung TV screen at the very top of the volume lever which i can adjust obviously, but when it's acting up in only those moments when i log back in after falling asleep or something it's a Realtek (Hard drive looking) device so idk.

This is my mobo.

You've got the TV connected to the motherboard so im guessing you don't have a graphics card?

Next time this happens, right click the volume icon, click "select audio devices" (or something like that, it definitely called audio devices something), and see if the TV is still set as the defeault one.

Yea no graphics card just yet, decided to wait on that for another couple weeks since without that I could have purchased everything else i wanted 😛 gonna have to get home after work and see if i can do what either of you are mentioning but thanks for the quick replies.
