I have built a brand new computer and am having some issues with the graphics card not bringing up display.

Specs:

PSU - Corsair 750W
Motherboard - GA-H87M-D3H
RAM - Vulcan 8gb DDR3 1600 (4gb x2)
Graphics Card - Geforce GTX 750(2048MB GDDR5) 2gb Edition

I have installed the graphics card and I get nothing at all on display. I put in my old GTX 650 and it also does not get display. The fans are running and the system is running on both cards but no display?

Is it something I need to do in BIOS?
I have gone into BIOS Peripherals and made sure to put it on the PCIe x16 slot #1. However it does not seem to help.

If I hook up the built in intel card I can use the computer normal, but I would really like to install the graphics card and use.

Thanks in advance for any help!

As a note I have seen a lot about PCIE X16 slots going bad and having to replace motherboard. Is this a possible reason why the computer won't pick up the graphics card on either the PCIExpress slots?

Running on the intel integrated graphics and the video card installed, go into device manager and confirm that the video card is recognized under "Display Adapters". If it indeed is, right click and select "Update Driver Software". Typically, it will be able to find a matching driver for your video card, or at least one that will enable you to use it (a standard VGA driver) so you can get the standard NVIDIA drivers installed.

If this doesn't work, boot into the BIOS, and there should be a setting something along the lines of "Video Hardware" or "Onboard Graphics" depending on your MOBO. Be sure to select the graphics card in the BIOS, or it is set to "Auto" at the very least and not locked into onboard graphics.

First didn't work the computer won't recognize it, now trying 2nd option. Thanks for advice will post results.

The second option was unsuccessful. If you are not familiar with the GIGABYTE BIOS it has a peripheral section where you can choose to run on intel graphics and also the option to choose the slot to read(PCIE slot 1 or PCIE slot 2 or PCI).
I did not see your suggestions anywhere in the BIOS layout. Checked every menu there was.
