Sorry if this has been asked before but I can't find any other threads that are helping.
I keep getting the reboot and select proper boot device error whenever I boot up my computer. I first had this problem when I first build my desktop and later solved it. But now it's back and I can't get past it. My SSD is set to first priority when booting, it's set over the HDD, I've tried booting from the HDD with the same error, Windows is properly installed(I've been going several months with no problem).
The only thing I did before the error started popping up was disconnect the HDD, attempt to boot up with the SSD alone(this is when the error popped up), and reconnected the HDD to try and boot up again only for the error to show up everytime.

If that is the case why does the system not boot when only the SSD is in?

How do I attempt system files repair? I plugged in a USB with Windows 10 and am at the command prompt window.

Edit: I'm guessing you want me to use the bcdboot command, I am just unsure how to type the command
"Bcdboot /Windows" is as far as I've gotten

Would it be bcdboot c:/Windows?
