This is my first build and I am having trouble deciding ram. I've narrowed it down to two types due to performance and a price point of $100.

Corsair
Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz (PC4-25600) C16 Memory Kit - Black

Or

G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Intel Z170

Of the two, which is better? Is there something different I should be looking at? I was looking into crucial, but benchmarks, reads, and writes weren't as good.

Thank you for the help in advance!!

A list of my main components:

-Z170 Pro Gaming Mobo

-Gtx 1060 - 6GB

-i5 6600k CPU

If this is for a gaming build, don't worry about it that much. Ram doesn't effect performance much more than a couple of FPS. And in your case you are considering two kits of the same frequency and CL.

Also considering you aren't at the performance level of a GTX 1070 or 1080 the difference between ram kits is even less significant. In your shoes I'd just as soon get a cheaper kit around DDR4 3000 CL 15 for $15 less. You won't notice a difference.

I can upgrade my card by paying the differemce, I may do that in the future. Nonetheless, what specific sticks would you purchase at this time? Truthfully just looking for a recommendation.
