Hi Guys,

I was in the middle of my first ever PC build, and go to the part of installing the case fans. I bought the Aigo C5 RGB case fans which have really good reviews and I have seen a quite a few builds with these fans.

However I couldn't find a way to connect them to my MB. I am using an MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC Motherboard which have 4 pin sys fan connectors, but on the aigo lights I couldn't figure out how to connect them as I could only see a 4pin Molex connector coming from my PSU. In the aigo box there were some additional cables that had a connector to fit the system fam connector but they didn't connect to the 4pin Molex connector. I have left photos below and if you need photos of anything else I am happy to upload them!.

Hi, That's all you'd need. You'd manually adjust the fans speed. The controller does not connect to motherboard for automatically adjustments, as far as I can see in the provided diagram.
Okay perfect, so as long as it's connected to the psu the fans will have power? and then I can just adjust the fans via the controller, which does make sense because they provide a velcro sticky pad for the controller. I will have another look and reply again if I still don't have luck but I appreciate your replies man! Thank you!

You're welcome. Yes, connecting the controller to the PSU molex will provide the needed power to fans.
Hey man! I got the case fans to work. You was right the molux powered the fans anyway. There was another wire I connected to an RGB labelled connector on my MB, but i wanted to ask - I don't know if you have any experience with front IO RGB lights? I have an aerocool playa RGB case and I plugged in my front IO cables to their respective connectors but the RGb lights on the IO didn't light up. I was hoping you might know of anything I could try?
