So, I have a SATA HDD (I think) that I am trying to move from my old HP Microtower PC to my brand spanking new ryzen 3 2200g pc. I just have a 120gb ssd with the idea to my move old 500gb hdd to this pc. Now, I have a sata cable, the data one, and I plugged it in no problem. The power cable is a different story. I can't fit any cable I have with any cable that is coming out of the PSU. Like, whatsoever. I am a noob, help me please!

PC specs just for clarification:

A320M biostar MOBO
500w PSU (haven't checked the manufacturer)
RX550 ASUS 2gb
Ryzen 3 2200g 3.5gh factory setting
8gb single chanell DDR4 ram 2400MHz

Do I need to get new cables? Is the HDD too old to work with this new mobo? The old PC is the HP Compaq pro microtower 6000 mobo was 3047h http://www.findlaptopdriver.com/specs-hewlett-packard-3047h/ and the HDD was connected by a sort of PCI-e 4pin cable. It's shown in the image, but it looks sorta like this: http://img.opencroquet.org/pic/z226d587-600x600-0/sata_15pin_to_atx_p4_power_cable.jpg

I was just being dumb, I didn't realize I had to do it straight from the PSU to the HDD. That's what happens when you're a noob
