Having trouble installing Android 4.4 to Hyper-V

So I decided to try installing Android to a virtual machine using Hyper-V. Went through about two hours trying to figure out how to get the OS installed properly with no luck. Every time I boot the virtual drive, it prompts me to install Android. I cannot get it to connect to a network. So I resorted to installing Bluestacks, which works, but is not quite the same and apps take seemingly forever to install. How would I go by configuring a network to make the internet work on it? Also, if I were to install Windows 7 Professional to a virtual machine and run games on it, then will I need to upgrade my RAM to at least 16 GB?

Running Win 7 in a VM and games on that is a poor idea.
Hyper-V doesn't pass audio, and 3D performance is bad, if it exists at all.

So then it seems like a better idea to dual-boot Windows 7 to a different drive, but can the same be done with Android? Could I install Android to a USB 3.0 pen drive and boot it off of that?

Yes, a games machine needs to be run as a regular machine, not a VM.
Unknown about Android.

So if I were to upgrade to Windows 10 and migrate it to a new Samsung 850 EVO drive, then could I install Windows 7 Professional w/ XP mode, Ubuntu, SteamOS, and Android onto my old SSD and 5-way boot my PC this way without affecting my Windows 10 install? I know that I would not be able to dual-boot Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 using the upgrade license, so that option is out.

You could probably do that.
It would take some investigation as to the proper order to install, and your boot menu is going to get quite weird.
