Having trouble with connection on one Pc and not the other.

Hey guys hoping somebody could help me.I have a computer having trouble keeping a connection. Its always had trouble with it at the location Im at right now and I always assumed it was the internet provider or router. Then I built my new rig and got a wireless usb adapter for it and havent had any trouble at all staying connected. Well tonight i have my little bro over and were trying to run some coop games with him on the old pc and its having trouble again. I hooked the usb adapter from the new rig up to the old one and it didnt help so that dismisses my idea of the adapter just being better. These pc's are within 5 feet of each other so its not like its a distance from the router issue. I think Ive covered all the info. If anymore is needed feel free to ask. Thank you for your help

Yes. I installed the drivers and tried connecting through the device software and the widows networking. I connected with it, it was just keeping connected being the problem. It runs fine when it is connected, then just randomly cuts in and out.

Try to eliminate the electrical interference by moving electrical devices(if any) nearby the router. Check the troubleshooting in the links below to improve your wireless connection.

Thank you. One of the things I did notice is when I was having trouble connecting there were other random networks showing up. This seems strange to me because I'm on a 5 acre lot and there is a field surrounding it but there are many houses right outside of it. I will try out a duel band router to see if I have any luck.
