Question having trouble with ethernet connection

I recently got ethernet ran upstairs to my computer and upon booting the computer i get under the ethernet settings the network name , followed by "no internet" .
I have found a fix for this but it is only temporary and needs to be applied every time the pc is booted. this fix is restarting the router.
i have tried the following soloutions.
Disabled virtual ethernet profiles as well as my wifi card
Updated ethernet drivers to newest available firmware
run these commands in admin cmd - ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew
flushed dns
manually tried to use 1.1.1.1//1.0.0.1 as dns
changed from static to dchp vice versa.

What sort of a distance is the Ethernet wire traversing from the point of origin to your machine's Ethernet port? You might want to state the make and model of your motherboard and scope out the BIOS version that you're currently on.

Make and model of your router? You will also need to see if the router has any firmware updates pending.

the ethernet wire is really not that long, maybe 5 meters. the connection , when it actually can connect after i apply the formentioned fix gets the full speed and low latency.
the motherboard in my rig is a b450 tomohawk max
the router is an EE smarthub with the fibre plan
i have checked to see if there are any firmware updates and it looks like the updates get automatically pushed to the router.
i am on a relatively recent bios update
