Hey, I was wondering what this laptop means when it says "AMD Radeon 6620g + 7690m Dual Graphics". I don't get how that works and I have never even heard of the 7690m. I can't find it on the benchmark listing. I thought the only way to have more than graphics card working at once is if it's Crossfired/SLIed?

It has a A8 with the integrated 6620G graphics crossfired with a discrete 7690m.

Basically the 2 gpus will work together in dx11 games. 2D will be handled by the integrated gpu and games that support dual graphics will use both, otherwise it will use the 7690m.

the 7690m is just a dedicated laptop gpu.

Ah, I see. How is the 7690m compared to the 6620g though? Although they're both pretty low end graphics, which of the two is better?

the 7690m is better but they're supposed to work together for best performance out put... just like esrever said

integrated will handle low end save power/efficient
both integrated/discrete for high end power/performance
