Yo sup!

Well, my question is! Can i fit a HD 4890 in my pre build HP case. As you probably know those cases arent that big but yeah its atleast bigger than the card ;P and the space in there seems to be enoguh. Im going to give a link of my pc as soon as i find out what its called ;P. The other question is, will i get overheats and stuff like that, cause as i said, im pretty sure itll fit but it is kinda small. I hope the HD 4890 have some nice fans ;P Right now i have a HD 4650 1GB DDR2 and i also hope the motherboard can handle a beast like the 4890, on the other hand, DX 11 is right behind behind the corner so should i buy a cheap 300 series Nvidia or 5 series ATI card instead of the HD4890? Well i guess all of the 300 series card will cost damn much when they realese =( and thats why i want the HD4890 ^^.

THANKS

The 5850 might be smaller than the 4890, and just as powerful, I think.
What you'll have to worry about is cooling...the card doesn't produce much heat on idle, but when it gets on load you'd better be prepared...

any idea of how much the 5850 will cost. And anither question is, is the GTX 260 smaller than the HD 4890?

Splendid
5850 is more powerful than the 4890, go for it. The 4890 might be worth buying when the prices fall another $50 or so, until then there are no mid-high end cards worth buying that aren't 5850 or 5870's.

4890: 165$
5850: 280$
5870: 380$

It's not worth buying a GTX260; a 4890 can be had for the same price.
