I want to buy a graphics card for playing games like Saints Row IV, GTA V, Far Cry 4, Witcher3, Just Cause 3,etc.
I want to play these games without lagging. Resolution around 1024X768 would also be okay.
I have a PC of the following specs:
CPU: Intel Core i3-3210 CPU @3.20 GHz
Motehrboard: Intel DH61BF
RAM: 4Gb DDR3 memory (665 MHz)
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 2500 (according to CPUz, my
graphics memory is 1804 MB)
PSU: Intex Techno 450 20 + 4 pin sata
I was thinking of buying either gt 710 or hd 5450 ( I am getting both of them for around 45$ each).
I want to know if they can run those games and also if my psu will support them or not.
Thanks for your help!!

Solution

Both cards will work with any motherboard that has a PCI-E x16 slot. Your board has one of these slots, so it should be fine.

The GT 710 should be able to run most games at 1024x768 with low detail settings. It's not really a gaming card, but better than the HD 5450. If you wanted to run games at higher resolutions or higher settings you should be looking at the GTX 750.
Although not 45$, a GTX 750 (ti or not) will allow you to play the games you listed and work fine with your existing PC.
Otherwise, the GT 710 will allow playing at reduced details and resolutions. It all depends on your compromise tolerance! 🙂

My budget is not as high for gtx 750. I only have a budget of around 50$.

Just look at the minimum specifications for any games you are interested in.
No one bench marks these low end cards.
Here is a Far Cry 4 benchmark showing a GT 730 GDDR5 model:
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/far-cry-4-benchmark-performance-review,4019-3.html
1280x720 res, low detail, minimum 34 fps is pretty good.

Comparing the GT 710 to other cards:
HD 5450 DDR3 - 80 shader processors, 1600 MT/s memory
GT 710 DDR3 - 192 shader processors, 1800 MT/s memory
GT 730 GDDR5 - 384 shader processors, 5000 MT/s memory

Some other specs are more similar, but these are the major differences.
It's hard to say how well it will run just from specs, but certainly it will be slower than the GT 730 GDDR5.
If it doesn't run well enough at 1024x768, you may get away with 800x600.

I don't care about the resolution just playing the game lagfree is enough for me.

just get an older card then, somethign that doesn't support the latest version of directx.

you'll get higher performance, bigger powerbill, bigger card, cheaper price. and the games that won't run well simply can't run at all.
