HD 6670 for Skyrim

Okay so I am looking for a GPU upgrade and I want to know what will do best in skyrim.

price range under $90.

I have heard that the HD 6XXX is better on power then the 5XXX which is why I am leaning towards this one.

This is the card I am thinking will be best. due to my XPS 8100 case I can only use a GPU that is a single slot. because it will I probably could hook up a router though my Cat5 plug(?) on the Motherboard, but don't really want to do that.

Has anyone used this card with this CPU? I know Skyrim uses the CPU a lot.

Or would this card be better due to the DDR5?

I can run skyrim with these settings with My GT 220 (avg. 30 FPS)

Sorry just noticed the single slot bit. The $15 for DDR5 is worth it and its well suited to the CPU.

yeah I wish I could get that one. but it is way to big. on every level. *laughs* know why it would fit in my case.


I have not been able to find one but is there a HD 7750 <b>Single Slot<b> DDR5 would be a +. but not a big deal I guess.

now that I think about it: ether card I get will be an amazing upgrade from the GT 220 I have.

You know it means it is twice the thickness not it needs 2 slots? Here is a picture showing it with a dual slot card

since I had pretty much decided on a card. I thought get more people to answer my questions regarding the XFX card and how it handles skyrim on this forum vs the GPU one.

Sorry was that the wrong way to do it? (I am all hears. as I have never really used only forums.)
