HD 6770 Upgrade

Hi, My system is :
ADVENT DT2216
Intel I7-3770 Processor.
16 gb RAM
2TB Hard drive.
500w Power pack
HD 6770 1gb Graphics card.

I play "world of tanks" a lot.
45fps but only on "medium" detail.
I would love to upgrade the graphics card without too much fuss.
Would a HD 7850 plug straight in a inprove things?

GTX 970 or R9 280X

compared to HD 6770 :
HD 7850 is 2.6x faster
R9 280X is 4.3x faster
GTX 970 is 6.2x faster


HD 6770 = GTX 550 ti

Edit: GTX 970 and HD 7850 usually run on 500W good PSU . for R9 280X , i would get 650W PSU . Also R9 270(X) and R9 280 usually run on good 500W PSU .
