HD 6870 1GB, HD6950 2GB worth the difference?

Hi, I'm wondering if it worth the 97$ difference between this two cards in full HD gaming with an i5 2400 CPU:?

Both cards are great value for the money but I don't think the 6950 is fast enough to warrant paying almost $100 more, unless you are planning to overclock it and get 6970 level of performance.

Yeah, the 6950 is only 10% faster than the 6870, which will translate to about 3 to 10 FPS extra, a difference that won't be noticeable in most titles. Only the most demanding games would see a noticeable boost with the 6950. Don't bother with the 2GB version of the 6950 unless you are running a monitor with a resolution higher than 1920x1200. If you can find a 1GB model of the 6950 that doesn't a huge amount more than the 6870, go for it, otherwise the 6870 will do well at your resolution.
