HD 6950 2GB FPS DROP

hi guys won i build the new gaming pc i have problem with Crossfire in games fps Drop and low performance this is my spec:

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Memory: 12 RAM 13333ghz

motherboard: Asus P8h67 B3 Ver 3.0

Video card: XFX AMD Radeon HD 6950 Crossfire 2GB

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 2500k @ 3.67GHz (4 CPUs),
~3.7GHz

It's probably that you didn't set up crossfire correctly. Read guides first on how to crossfire.

It's probably that you didn't have the drivers up to date. Update to 12.1.

It's probably that the game doesn't scale well in crossfire.

You shouldn't have cheaped out on the motherboard. You have an unlocked CPU with a mobo that doesn't support OCing. You also are running your 6950s in 16x/4x mode which is pretty crappy.

Try reducing the AA level to 2xMSAA and see if that helps anything.

Other than that you can try a driver reinstallation. Totally uninstall your old AMD drivers first including using the newest version of Driver Sweeper to get rid of everything, then install the latest drivers from AMD as well as the CAP (Crossfire Application Profiles).

Damn you right i was blind all time motherboard as ******* problem man damn Cheap i should get good one but where i can find good one 16x/16x please of you have one perfect tell me

i crossfire it Very good it's Work but look like the problem in motherboard

You don't need 16x/16x, just 8x/8x is totally fine. I don't know why they would have a motherboard with multi GPU support but run it at 16x/4x.

Anyway one of the best bang for you buck motherboards would be the Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 (or the Z68A which is regular ATX instead of micro ATX).

Z68 boards allow overclocking as well as Virtual Logix which means you can use the HD 3000 integrated graphics of your CPU, which will speed up video conversion big time.
