HD 6950 driver help

So last night i decided to update my drivers because catalyst control center wouldnt open now it installed i got a warning, After the instalation completed the display driver screwed up now my screen is weird and it doesnt recognize my monitors resoloutions i tried system restore but it i dont a point that will fix it, could someone please help me its really frustrating thanks

Also when i open catalyst control centre it says i have no drivers installed and when i try update via steam it cant recognize my graphics card this right after i installed the drivers aswell

I'd try uninstalling it, running driver sweeper (I think amd has an official tool like this somewhere) in safe mode, get out of safemode, then reinstall it.

thanks for the suggestion but it didnt work,

the install worked with no warning but still it says there is no driver installed

it says this in device manager
"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"
i have the official drivers though
