HD 6990 orange stripes

I have this weird problem that my pc with a hd6690 boots but then there come some orange vertical stripes. I hope anyone can help me.

Is this happening even when the machine boots up/you're in game?

This looks odd to me, the stripes don't affect the text at all as far as I can tell, do they stay there after booting? You could try another monitor/tv and cable to rule out the screen being the problem.

I dont have acces to the card at the moment but you guys think its possible to fix?

And the stripes stay on the screen in a game and when booted up. and the monitor and cable i tested with en gtx 470 and it worked fine.

The card is cooled by a a 360mm radiator at full load64 degrees C. And i tried with the stock cooler at full load it gets to an 82 degrees. but idle its with the stock cooler at about 40 degrees

That's fine, are you able to try another output on the card? Just in case the one you are currently using has a fault.

I just tried but it did not work.

What are your full specs including PSU make/model? If possible, try to underclock the card slightly.

I would try baking it - remove the cooler etc and bake it for about 10 minutes at 375'f
