i have sapphire 7750 and i'm planning to buy another one..i have asus p8p67 le mobo CF ready...my problem is my generic 400W psu..in the amd web, 500W is recommended..i need advice from the Crossfire experts please...is this risky?

specs:
i5-2400 3.1ghz
asus p8p67 le
8 gb ddr3 1333 mhz
hd 7750 ( hopefully i can crossfire)
500gb hdd
generic 400w psu

The 7750 is actually very efficient. You should be fine unless you have lots of ssd, hdd, optical drives, pci-e, etc.
If you list everything hardware-wise, we can help you more.

thnx for your help, i have only 1 hdd..no optical drive...i think i'm getting another 7750

Efficient or not using generic psu is not recommended let alone adding another 7750. 400w generic might be able to keep up with 1 7750 but idon't think it will if there is two inside. And from my personal experience my generic often break within a year. Worst case it will bring another component to the grave when it died.

@OP

if you really want to get another 7750 get at least 550-600w non generic psu

thnx man, i appreciate your help...you are right.. its better safe than sorry..i should buy 500W psu first..
