HD 7750 power consumption?

Hey guys, i was wondering can a 280 watt psu handle the HD 7750? My pc spec are:

Cpu: Core 2 quad Q200
Ram: 6.00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 398MHz (6-6-6-18)
HDD: 596GB Western Digital WDC WD6400AAKS-08A7B0 ATA Device (SATA)
Optical drive: ATAPI DVD A DH16A6S ATA Device

I would say no, considering the fact that AMD is asking for at least 400w. If it the window between the recommended was smaller than I would say youd be ok. There's a lot of good quality corsair PSU's on sale on newegg for 30-40 bucks. I'll link you couple.
