Hey people!

I have an envy h8-1534:

(My CPU is an FX 6350, not FX 6200)

It has a 460 watt PSU: http://allpcpower.com/pca246.aspx
It's the psu that came with the pc. I want to install an HD 7770 on my PC, but on the official site it says that a minimun of 500w is recommended. I've read through some posts and they say the HD 7770 doesnt use much power (100w max). I've tested the wattage of my PC playing Planetside 2 and it hovers around 200w under load and 100w idle.
Will I need a new PSU for the HD 7770? I've heard these cheap PSUs arent good quality and I don't want to screw up my PC. Im not going to overclock, just running at stock speeds.

Thanks!

Solution
Yes OEM PSU's are not that good. Cheaply build. Not Recommend for stressful situations. May not be able to put out full rated power above room temperature, and may slightly fail to meet ATX specs.

HD 7770 requires :

1.System in IDLE = 155W
2.System Wattage with GPU in FULL Stress = 231W
3.Difference (GPU load) = 76W
4.Add average IDLE wattage ~10W
5.Subjective obtained GPU power consumption = ~ 86 Watts

Its a low power consumption card, so a decent 400W PSU would be enough. XFX, Seasonic, Antec, Corsair are good brands, get a PSU of either brand if you want to.

Only review I could find of a (not yours) AcBel power supply:
http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/AcBel-Polytech-iPower-660-Power-Supply-Review/552/5
They say the power supply is "unpublishable".
After receiving a "strong backing up" from such a review, I'm forced to say not to use that power supply.
I could not find it anywhere on the net.
If you can get another good one, then get one.
Even the corsair vs350 will be enough for you if you are not thinking of getting a more powerful card. It can supply 300W off the +12V rail. Otherwise the VS450 or CX430 are starting choices. I don't know about other PSU brands.

You could be wanting to pull the new cx430's current off the old one.(32A vs 28A).

I might consider the VP450. It's cheap and apparently very good for a budget PSU:

I just got an ASUS HD7770 2GB model and replaced in my Dell XPS Studio 1 435T replacing the shipped HD4870 in it. This system has a 475W PSU but my UPS shows it never even gets CLOSE to that figure. Matter of fact, right now, just entering this my UPS says my system (i7-920 CPU, 8GB's RAM, SSD and 2 internal mechanical HD's and 2 DVD's) is using only 121W's.

I assume that various models of the 7770 might draw different values, and some have less RAM which should draw less. The one I got is http://www.amazon.com/GDDR5-technology-Graphics-Cards-HD7770-2GD5/dp/B0088PK040/ref=sr_1_28?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1387641238&sr=1-28&keywords=ati+video+card and I've not had troubles with it.

I have 550 w psu from local brand Gigatech it has 39 ampers on +12 and +5 volts rail
