I I have read other posts about this problem and none helped.

I have an Intel DH55TC board and the HD 7850 won't display anything, I can hear the PC boot like normal and the card has power, I tried updating the bios still nothing, I also cleaned the ram slots and pci e slot and still nothing. I also tried the HD 7850 in another comp and it works fine so please help!!

Solution
thts interesting...definitely a perplexing situation unless thrs some incompatibility going on...but i m surely not aware of that...i ll rather throw this thread open for others...maybe someone else has a solution...
the card has a 6 pin connector but the psu I got is a Thermaltake tr2 500w that can support 6-14 pin

When I have the dvi cable in to monitor I get nothing like its not even being detected but I still hear sounds like normal

I have rechecked everything and the card was plugged into the proper card port because right now I am using a smaller one and it works fine. The HD7850 also works fine on other system

PNY GT 600 GeForce GT 610 is what I am using atm. when i was trying the other one out I was plugging into the card to monitor, I have made that mistake before lol but I really can't figure this one out

lets see if this helps...do it in this order...

> download display driver uninstaller from guru3d...run it and uninstall all current drivers...
> power off the system and reset the cmos battery and jumper pins...
> clean the card properly for dust accumulation...
> power on the system and update the bios to the latest one, but before that, keep a copy of the older bios, in case the new one doesnt work...(optional)
> now install the card and check for display...
> if there is a display, then update the vbios... http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2288384/upgrade-gpu-bios.html
> go to the nvidia/amd website and download the latest drivers for the card and install them...
> along with that u should update ur...vcredist, c++ redistributable, directx, and .net framework...

let us know wat happns...

I went to intel to download the driver update utility and it scanned my comp and it said no driver were installed could this be why it doesn't work? I did have an Asus 280x card in this system with all intel DH55TC drivers installed and updated and it worked.

So I am guessing I have to install all these drivers lol

Figured out the problem! I need a new mobo! The pci-e slot is messed up, the little pins are all pushed in not sure why. I think someone messed with my comp while I was away for a month. Certain gpu cards will work but not the good ones lol
