Hello,

I am myself going to buy a HD 7850 in a few days. It is overall much better than the gtx 650 ti.

The 7850 competes with the GTX 660 not the GTX 650Ti. The GTX 650 Ti competes with the 7770. For gaming you definitely want the 7850. As for the CPU, that's an older generation one, get something like the newer i5 3450 and a H77 motherboard. Why H77? Because H61 may have some trouble with compatibility with the newer generation processors. Grab an ASrock H77M.

The Radeon HD 7850 1 GB is one of our price/performance favorites, so long as it's more than a few dollars cheaper than the 2 GB version. It's significantly more powerful than Nvidia's GeForce GTX 650 Ti, and you don't run into a problem with just 1 GB of graphics memory unless you push aggressive levels of anti-aliasing at high resolutions (usually above 1080p)
