hd 7870 xt problems

my GPU was broken and my custom pc builder company send me a new one, it was a club 3d hd 7870 XT, but the one they send me was shorter than the on i had, and i thought it was a 7870, so i called them and they said it was a new smaller version of the XT, i plugged it in and i got around 6 fps lower at the games i play, is this really a XT? and how can i check it because my computer only shows AMD hd 7800

Without a picture of the new card it would be impossible to say for certain, but I would bet it's just a regular 7870 based on the performance numbers.

What does GPU-Z show?

gpu-z says hd 7800, but you guys are right, its a 7870, it is 1 ghz while the XT is 925 mhz

That more than likely makes it a 7870 ghz edition. Definately not the same thing as a XT.
