I just bought an Asus VG248. I took it by my friends house since he lives right by the retailer (it's a 30 minute drive back to my house) and I wanted to make sure that everything was working correctly.

Our systems are identical, except he has a gtx 960 and I have an HD 7970. I do have a DVI-DL cable and available DL port on my gpu. I go into my resolution settings, but the only option is 60Hz. My radeon settings claims that my maximum refresh rate is 144Hz, but there is no option to set my monitor to that rate.

Does anyone have any advice on my situation? It worked perfectly on my friends computer. Also, I am running the 15.12 amd drivers.

Solution
I've solved the problem myself. After uninstalling my current 15.12 drivers and installing the latest beta driver, I am now able to use my monitor in full 144Hz. It seems to be a bug in the driver affecting at least the HD 7970 cards.
