I know it's the right port on the mobo which is the 10-1 AAFP, I know to align the missing pin properly and it goes in only one way. I turned on a flashlight to make sure it was straight as possible but it feels like I would need to use more force... I'm a first time builder so I'm really scared of damaging the AAFP. My motherboard is the Asus Z87 sabertooth and thanks for the help in advance.

Check the holes in the audio cable if there is some tiny particles, if not, then you may need to apply pressure. Make sure one of your hand is below the audio pin under the motherboard so as to have a perfect support. That way you won't damage your motherboard when you try to apply pressure.

Some connectors when building a motherboard do require pressure, like molex cables.

What do the particles look like? I looked inside and all the holes look normal. All I see is black

Particles I mean by tiny food particles or something like that.
If not then follow what I said above about apply pressure.

Here, I took a picture to show you. Even with some force I still can't get the damn thing in there!

I have a strong feeling there is something in that cable. Thats the only thing I know. I guess you have no option but to use the AC97 cable instead. Sorry man, I am fresh out of ideas.
